The special needs section entered the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA)Fancy Dress class at the Royal Windsor Horse Show, where they won first prize. The theme for the competition was ‘Fairy Stories’ and they chose ‘The pied Piper of Hamlin’ as their entry.
Grace Messenger was the Pied Piper riding Redwood, Andrew Perks as the mayor riding Danny , and the volunteers from no.6 squadron all dressed as rats! A large group of horse rangers turned out to watch from the sidelines to see them all win. This was a fantastic achievement in a very competitive class – well done to everyone who took part.
Our staff were congratulated on the condition and turn out of the horses.
